one down

I have completed one scarf. I am doubting my worth as a crafter tonight. Not sure if there is anyone out there who truely thinks I am any good. Does it really matter? probably not as I do it for my own enjoyment but it would be nice to think that one would be remembered as being good at something and this is really what i would like to be remembered for. enough angst for one evening! first scarf blue naturally yarn purchased in Dunedin. Knitted to Honeycomb stitch pattern from one skein wonders book. Happy enough with it. would have liked it a little longer but ran out of wool and a bit far to go back for more. Hope my staff appreciate the presents and are even a little aware of how much wool costs and the time involved in knitting even a scarf. At least Maree will appreciate the gesture. i'm not sure whether i can add a photo to this later. I will no doubt find out when i try. i will try to get gina to take the photos of the scarves as my camera and photography are rather shit.

two things; I have just realised that what with employing more staff I will need to knit more than 52 scarves so i will start in December and not January and number 2 the negative comments about why would anyone want to read a blog about knitting scarves nearly put me off. So, I will blog for myself and if no one reads it or even knows about it no problem. i am way too old to be all about pleasing other people. i set this as a goal to do and do it i will!!
