Two scarves finished. these are both out of wool from spotlight. Both scarves are in Moda Vera wool cashmere blend. lovely and soft. The lighter one is a pattern i made up myself with a little help from the vogue dictionary of knitting stitches and the darker one is bohemia scarf pattern from ravelry. Photos are taken at the disused garage at the end of my road. makes a change from wedding photos being taken there.
went into spotlight today. they are having a 20% off wool sale so have stocked up on a few balls for scarves and a few balls for hats for my bald head when i do shave for a cure. The hair all comes off on March the 13th. Just in time for the colder weather.

No scarf this week
Way too busy finishising hoodie for Estonia and a baby cardy for one of the doctors at work to do a scarf this week. haven't even done enough of one to photograph. I was going to take Nancy to Tuncurry to visit Sylosz but decided against it. in the end wish I had but there you go. Sylosz and I did lots of exploring of Forster tuncurry and the two offending items are close to finished. I will need to do a couple of quick scarves this week to get back on track. trouble is most of my wool is 4ply or smaller so quick is not really a word associated with them. the scarf that is not yet worthy of a photo is in alovely dark green wool purchased in Dunedin in an Estonian pattern and will be very nice when completed. I will have to think of a nice local location for nancy's next photo shoot. i am thinking Nobby's? Did a lot of knitting with sylosz watching The Secret Life of Bees. can recommend the movie. quite a few tears shed. must now read the book.
